I recently put this build together and decided to take a look at my CPU temps to see where i was at. At idle I'm getting 65 degrees and when I run a game like hunt showdown they spike up to 80 degrees. They get as high as 85ish. I have the stock AMD wraith RGB heatsink. I put arctic silver 5 high density polysynthetic silver thermal paste on as well. In my case I have the 2 stock corsair fans that it came with. Should I try maybe reapplying the thermal paste or do something to improve my air flow? I haven't messed with overclocking or anything yet either.

Hi
Nemesia,

I personally use the fortis 3 rgb, I love it. It is cheap and very good. Even better than some of the double priced options out there. There is also a non rgb version.

It comes with good thermal paste and keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 under 60 degrees even under full load, it also is very silent then. I would highly recommend it.

Here is a link for it: https://www.silentiumpc.com/en/product/fortis-3-rgb-he1425/

And i checked and the cooler works with your cpu(Socket AM4) :)
