CPU to Socket Insertions Limit?

While going over some Intel data for an older system I was upgrading, I came across this item in Intel's "Thermal/Mechanical Specifications and Design Guidelines" PDF for the Lynnfield processor I was using:

2.1.5 Package Insertion Specifications
The processor can be inserted into and removed from an LGA1156 socket 15 times. The
socket should meet the LGA1156 socket requirements detailed in Chapter 5.

Is anyone besides me surprised to realize that a CPU can only be inserted/removed into its socket 15 times before they are... "worn out"?

After getting a bit deeper in the weeds reading the PDF file, it looks like they are referring to the socket's ability to maintain proper "loading" pressure on the 1,156 contact points with the processor package's contacts. The recommendation is listed as 15 times in one part of the file, and 20 in another. It's still surprising to me, but I can see what they mean...
