CPU too weak ?

Hi,
I recently decided to change my old GPU (AMD Radeon HD 7850) for a brand new beast which is the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING X 8Gb. I installed it and everything seems to work fine.
However, I wondered if for such a new graphic card, my CPU would be too "weak". I have an Intel Core i7-3770k 3.4Ghz which I bought about 4 years ago with all the other components in my computer (main components : 8Gb RAM, Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard).
Should I consider to change this CPU ? Knowing that it is a 1155 socket so I would probably have to change the Motherboard with it.
Thanks in advance for your time !

First thank you very much for your answer !
I have to admit that I never overclocked any component.. I'll do my research.
I will let the question unanswered for the moment to see if there are diverging opinions. If not i'll pick your answer as a solution.

I run 2600k 4.5 with 1080ti and run about 10 fps less tham comparing to the latest cpus.

If you could add dual 2x 8gb memory and get a decent air cooler and overclock to 4.5 you'll save a quid of a complete rebuild for another two years or so.

I concur it's still good.

Personally I would not OC, i'm running an OC'd 3570k, and have been since 2012, BUT it is not without risk, having set up the OC in 2012 I could have replaced parts that failed. Now I could not do that, and the risk is during those initial phases of OCing. If you are going to do it, do it early, or decide that you are willing to replace cpu/mobo and ram and then OC anyway, and consider it a saving if you don't need to buy new components.

Unless you are playing Cities Skylines you should be fine for a while more, just overclock it because there is a lot of gain to be had, you should be able to get 4.5 GHz no problem unless you have a bad chip, Im able to get 4.8 GHz at 1.32V same motherboard too.
