Greetings,I have CPU Phenom II x4 B50 with stock clock of 3.2ghz.I overclocked it to 3.6 while undervolting to around 1.301.I have tested it a bit in Prime95 and it had no problems.I also played Guild Wars 2(CPU intensive game) and there were no crashes. So my question is since It looks like I am stable, does undervolting reduce peformance?

Solution
Under-volting does not reduce performance.
It does reduce wattage -- in my testing with the PhIIs as much as 35% at load.

It would not be uncommon to go 3.8GHz at 1.3v. I would also not be surprised if the OP ran stock 3.2GHz at 1.1875v load.

It will reduce performance ... if you happen to crash :)

Which can be an issue on some motherboards at 0.85v and less with C&Q, coming out of sleep. Otherwise, the PhIIs are fun volt-tweaking chips.

Check out the PhenomMSRTweaker utility for fine-tuning P-States, multis and voltages.
