Hello,trying to think of an upgrade for my r9 3900x(oc),somewhere between a good gaming and animation rendering upgrade

thought of 7900x and 13700k,any thoughts?havent had a very good research on the newer cpus just yet

paired with rtx 2080 super(oc) at 1440p!thnx

the Ryzen 7950X looks to be the best option for rendering and gaming. 13700k or 13900k for video editing cuz of Intel quick sync.

Get the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Adapter & Offset Mounting Kit for optimised cpu cooling. you need the offset mounts to account for the hot spot in 7950X

your PSU might need an upgrade. Whats the make and model?
