CPU upgrade, bios version

I am upgrading my cpu from an AMD FX-4130 to a FX-8350 and I have a GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev 5.0) motherboard. On the gigabyte CPU support list it shows that the 8350 requires an "F3" bios version. My current bios version says "Award Software International, Inc. FA, 4/23/2013."

I've never upgraded my bios before as I have never upgraded a cpu. I don't know if my bios version is greater than the F3 that the 8350 states. So can someone please explain to me if I need to update my bios?

Also, an explanation on how to update my bios would be great too, do I update before I install the new cpu or after?

There are quite a few revisions of that board, and for rev 5.0 which u have there is only one bios which is "FA". rev 5.0. that board supports the 8 cores up to he 8370, so no bios update required

So I just put in the new cpu and turn her on? Nothing else?

based off the information u gave and that information taking me to the gigabyte website of support cpus on that board, and based off of that u dont need to update and yes just put the new cpu in and good to go.
