Thought I would get the most out of my old A7V266 by replacing the old
1400 CPU with an XP2400+ 266Mhz Thoroughbred, the best CPU it can
handle.

But...the thing won't boot now and won't give me any sounds or graphic
display.

The board is set to Jumper Free...but is there anything else I should
be changing.

Any help appreciated...

Found the problem, my Rev 1.6 won't run it, needs 1.7! There's a
hundred bucks down the drain...(trying to smile)

I'm having exactly the same problem trying to upgrade my 1900+ to a
2600+. Where do you find the revision number of the board?
