CPU Upgrade for Celeron M

I have a Intel Celeron M 440,L2-1MB, mPGA479, FSB533 processor......Can i Upgrade to better one Please help me....My mother board model is T12Rg-H. Laptop Model is HCL L21

The processor you have is eight years old and is built for a laptop, so the only place you're likely to even stand a chance of finding one is eBay.

Your motherboard supports the PGA479 socket, so you need to find a processor that's compatible with that and is built specifically for a laptop. Laptop and desktop processors are not interchangable, so you need to make sure you pick the right one.

Realistically though, don't expect much of a performance boost. Processors from that era aren't anywhere close to those from even five years ago.
