Well it sounds like an issue. I have the Fujitsu AH532, with an i3-3120m, which I wanted to upgrade. I called the France support of Fujitsu and the tech told me that any of the CPUs on the site http://globalsp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-LIFEBOOK-AH532.pdf could be an upgrade. I went for the i7-3632QM, that I bought from E***. I took off the old, installed the new, black screen, laptop reboots to black screen and hangs on it.
Took off the new, put in the old, searched for a solution, and I saw that the bios would have to be upgraded, made the upgrade from the 2.08 to 2.09. Plugged the new CPU, turn on and still the same BLACK SCREEN.

Now I'm feeling desperate.

Ok so after watching carefully the i3 3120m socket is FCPGA988 http://ark.intel.com/products/71465/ but couldn't find what socket is the i7 3632QM (how convenient) anywhere on Intel's site.

Could someone please help me finding a 4 cores CPU compatible with my laptop?

The i3 3120m AND the i7 are the same size..

EDIT: ignore this :)
EDIT2: Intel are making this socket thing a real headache. Either don't let end user the choice for upgrade or clarify thingd, I mean we aren't all specialized techies
