Hey guys, I saw a couple of threads on this but none with my cpu.

Right now I have a Intel Core i5 2400 @ 3.10Ghz

But my plan is also to run 3 screens on this gtx 970 for some gaming.
Will this CPU bottleneck? Should I get something like the i5 3340? or 3570k?

Solution

I think the CPU frequency is a bit low for your gaming needs. I think a 4690k would fit you nicely if you want a great CPU for a good price. The CPU may bottleneck yes, since newer games like Far Cry 4 tend to be CPU dependent. Aim for 4Ghz CPU and you will achieve great performance.
