Hi Guys!
Im a noob that loves to play pc games with friends, so i started with a budget pc and upgrading it piece by piece every couple of months. This time, i want to upgrade my cpu from i3 7100 to i7 6700. I'm not an overclock enthusiast so i wont bother with the K thing. My question is, is there a need for a BIOS update before i switch CPU? Or it should just be plug and play? i7 6700 is in the list of CPU's supported by my MOBO (i checked their website) but i want to make sure. I ask because I'm upgrading via Good Trade deal so once i got the i7, i won't have the i3 with me. Im also upgrading because i'm using the pc for Heavy Autocad files and some 3D softwares at work.
MOBO: ASUS H110M-A-M-2 (Yeah Yeah Yeah will upgrade later)
RAM: 16GB
GPU: ASUS 1050 Ti (Yeah Yeah Yeah this is my next upgrade)
PSU: 500W (is this enough if i change later to at least 1060?)
Peripherals: (Oh it doesn't matter)
Thanks in advanced, looking forward for Your much needed help. Cheers!
