Question CPU Upgrade

Yeah I've pretty much always replaced the stock fans in cases, so didn't really care much what they came with. Only when I am doing budget builds do I pay attention on included fans.

You can pick up a Corsair branded AIO that includes an ARGB hub if you want. The reason I like non-RGB fans is because it simplifies the wiring. I have 7 fans that would be 14 cables with RGB. I use a simple PWM hub. Or you can get a cheap AIO and then use your own fans.

That dual tower is essentially a 240mm radiator. Paying $70-100 for a 240mm AIO vs $35 for about the same cooling performance with none of the headaches is why AIOs don't make a lot of sense.

Now the new Arctic Liquid Freezer III is quite cheap, as well as several AIO options from Thermalright (which share the same fans I listed earlier) so those are decent options.

I think we've covered the CPU question well enough. Nothing more to add. If it is BIOS updates needed to fix it, it will get taken care of pretty quickly with all the media attention it is getting. If you are still concerned, get the regular one.

Or we can look at AMD again. 7800X3D is still a fine chip.
OK so if i was to get AIO RGB, it would really need to be 360mm? but i dont think you can put 3 fans on the top of a Corsair 4000D case, so would it have to go on the front where you can fit 3 x 120mm fans? then i would put another fan on the back and another 2 on the top, including the 360mm AIO cooler on the front of the case? or id have to get another case that allows a 360mm AIO on the top
Not sure if the Arctic Liquid Freezer is RGB? if so then can you get standard RGB Arctic Liquid fans to match with it? or would it make more sense to get a Thermalright AIO then thermalright fans.

OR thermalright?
Will i have problems fitting an AIO into the front of the PC with a graphics card? and would i 360mm AIO run better than say a 240mm AIO.
Perhaps Lian Li fans

Max GPU length of the case - minus the radiator thickness (typical 22-30mm , fan thickness (generally 25mm)

240mm is enough, 360mm is quite good. You can run a little cooler or run the fans quieter.

Front mount 360mm is considered pretty standard.

RGB fans are a bit of mess as you have discovered. I've no real opinion on them. Plenty of solutions, but you can easily spend $200 or more on a set of fans.

I think im going to go with a 360mm AIO, what AIO im not too sure yet, not sure if to get an AIO then different Fans, or an AIO and the same branded fans for the remainder of the case, but i think im going to have to change the Case that im getting so I can fit a 360mm AIO on the top rather than the front as i think that's the best place to have them. Might just go with the 14700K and see how it goes, risk it, reduce the power to what I can reduce it to and wait till an update/fix gets pushed out.
Going to go with the ASrock Steel Legend motherboard I think... Budget has gone out the window but its not too much of a bother, just need to decide on new case options and a decent brand of AIO for the 14700K as its quite power hungry and hot?

This is where im at so far, minus the CPU Cooler and additional fans.

Hard to visualise aesthetically what its going to look like and if its too much white, and if Black RGB Ram would look better than the White on white.
