[SOLVED] CPU upgrading

If I upgrade my cpu(i3-2100 to i3-3220), what are the things I should know? Is it simple as installing more ram?

First thing you need to know before buying a particualr CPU is does your motherboard actually support it?

Well, you "need" new thermal paste (it's best practice to replace it when swapping cpus, but i personally don't do it unless it rubbed off)

other than that, be careful on the old capacitors on that board.
also, it wont give you any measureable difference in performance.
