CPU Usage dropping

Hi,

I have an FX 8350 and when I play games such as CS:GO, Overwatch etc. my CPU usage drops from 100% down to about 20-30%, this causes the game I am playing to stutter heavily. Any idea what could be causing this?

It's might be temps, do you know what you temps are while gaming?

AMD Overdrive is the only reliable AMD CPU temp monitor. Software like HW Monitor and Speed Fan wont be accurate at all.

I am using MSI Afterburner, surely that provides the correct temps?
