Hi, I play Fortnite and PUBG a lot. I recently witnessed fps drops. So I overclocked my GTX 1060 3gb. In Fortnite, I monitored my GPU and CPU load. I got 30% GPU load and 51 CPU load. I get around 144 fps because I have it capped at that. But I get fps drops a lot. However, on PUBG I get around 70-99% GPU load and 30 CPU load. When I get fps drops my GPU drops to 70-80. I average 140 fps in PUBG but when I get fps drops I drop to 70. I have an i7 intel

If you need any more info please let me know

Thanks

Those games only use 2-4 threads so half of your 8 threads maximum so nothing to see here, everything is as it should be.
You get drops because some scenes are more demanding then others and overclocking your CPU not your GPU will help in keeping the FPS more stable.

what monitor are you using? 60hz 144hz? Your gpu has low vram so it does struggle a bit in some games. I would try using vsync in the games you get a lot of fps drops to try and keep it steady.

I have a 144hz monitor. You want me to enable vsync in the game or in the control panel or both*
