What might have changed since all was well?

FX-6300 is all but obsolete.

I might suspect that you are throttling, where the clock rate is lowered and the cpu usage consequently goes up.
This may be the cooler has an issue, or it may be that the motherboard vrm modules over heat.
Try taking the case covers off and direct a house fan at the innards.

Better yet, consider an upgrade.
$250 or so will buy you a i3-10100 that is considerably stronger, a lga1200 motherboard, and 16gb of ddr4 ram.
If budget permits you can go stronger.

and actually, nothing goes to 100%, it just lags while i m playing, then gets back to normal
No bottleneck and framedrops?
Or something is bottlenecking for you in the end? Because with bottleneck, when load spikes and you have already 100% usage, you will get solid and noticable frame drop for a bit

Yea, FX in 2021, is not a good experience. Thankfully, it takes very little to vastly improve on what you have now. I would suggest getting a bit more, than an i3, and bump up to a 6c/12t i5, at the very least. Games are becoming more CPU and thread heavy. It will last you a bit longer, with future GPU upgrades.
