Question Cpu usage spiking up to 98% and making games laggy. Any help?

Ryzen 3 2200g
GTX 1050TI
2x8 gb ram 2666mhz xmp enabled
1tb hdd
Fresh install of windows.

What can i do?

Use resource monitor to show you how much is being used when the system is idling. What games are you taxing the system with? Make and model of the motherboard? BIOS version for said motherboard? Did you create the installer for your OS using Windows Media Creation Tools?

It spikes up to 8% when idling. Most of that was because of Task Manager tho. It spikes mostly when playing Minecraft and sometimes Fortnite on 1600x900 resolution because my pc cant handle 1080p fortnite. I got a gigabyte a320m-s2h and the bios version is the f50. I installed windows with Rufus since i wanted to try 1909 instead of 2004 because it is better in my opinion.
