So i had a thread yesterday were i was told to set the vcore manually since the upgrade function on the BIOS was probably way too high.

So far, the vcore is set to 1.25v, but it fluctuates way too much upwards in HWMonitor, even hitting as high at 1.378v, so i was wondering, what BIOS function is causing this? i saw there were some overvolting functions that increased it when the CPU was dragging way more power, but anm entire .1v higher seems way too much . (and all of the ones i saw didnt let you disable them).

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z270 Gaming K3, and my CPU a I5-7600K.

What speeds are you running at? There's also a chance that in the bios you could have it set for the voltage to adjust based on boost speeds. 1.378v is a safe voltage if it is actually hitting that.

4.6GHz. They're safe, but certainly not needed for such a low overclock, so i'd rather keep them at the 1.25 mark.
