CPU-Z Reading Memory Incorrectly?

I ran CPU-Z on my computer and it says 400 mhz for the memory speed, but my RAM is 800 mhz RAM. I ran memtest and it came out with no errors, so am I just reading CPU-Z incorrectly?

What's your system specs pongrules? Do you have DDR2-6400 (ie. 800mhz)? If you're running a Core2Duo system and your FSB is set to 400Mhz (rated FSB in CPU-Z is 1600mhz) your RAM will be running at 2x the FSB (400x2). Have a look at the FSB:RAM ratio in CPU-Z, it should read 1:1 in the above circumstance!

I think dj means "are you running your RAM at DDR2-800/PC2-6400 speed?" (ignore the rest) Since "DDR" stands for "double data rate", the underlying memory bus clock speed is 400MHz when running at a data rate of 800MHz (DDR2-800).
