I have got a S370 motherboard and it supports up to 500Mhz, which cpu should i use for an upgrade. I have a P200 MMX...

well, if you are talking about the motherboard that has the 200 mmx, then you dont have a s370 board, its s291 socket7 motherboard. you need to change the motherboard to use a s370 processor (celeron or p-III), or you can upgrade to a AMD K6-II 500 if the board supports 100 MHz Front Side Bus (if it supports 500 MHz CPU then its likely to be super7 - 100 MHz FSB, since socket7 (not super7) reached only 233 MHz with Pentium and 333 with Cyrix M-II. it had a maximum bus frequency of 83 MHz.

Anyway, check your motherboard.

And yes, it can reach 100Mhz, I think i will go for a AMD K6II-500...
