Should I buy the Ryzen 5 5600g or wait until the i5 12gen?

What do you currently have? Intel 12th gen will probably require new boards and ddr5 ram. AMD will probably also be releasing a new socket and new cpus as well. But ryzen 5000 series is decent currently.

Currently I am getting a pc, I have not finished buying all the parts, but I already have the CPU which is an i5 10600k, is it worth selling it and buying another one? I don't have MBO yet so there are no compatibility problems
