I got 2 CPU_FAN connectors, one have 4 pins and the other one have 3 pins.

I am planning to buy an AIO cooling system and my motherboard is like 8 years old so I will like to know if the 3 pins CPU_FAN is able to support the pump.

The 4 pins connector I think it should go to the fans with the splitter that comes with the AIO

Motherboard: AS Rock Z68 Extreme 4
AIO cooling System (willing to buy): Cooler Master Masterliquid ML360R RGB

Yes, it should be ok. Another (and better) option would be buying a molex to 3 pin fan connector and connecting the pump to the power supply, not to the board.
Now, I'm not sure if the pump gets power from the controller, or from the CPU_Fan header.

I think the power comes from either motherboard (3 pin) or power supply (molex adapter).
The controller connectors are for the fans (as hub/splitter), for RGB lights, for power via SATA and USB connection to motherboard (for controlling). Alternative to USB is the ARGB to motherboard.

I connected it to the motherboard, but if it begins to present problems then will take the molex connector. (I got no molex right now)

Thanks to confirm that the 3 pins works
