Hi all
This is my first query so hope its in the right place, well ive just finished a new build in the last few weeks and all seems to be fine bar one problem and that is the weird max temps that CPUID and HWINFO64 keep giving me at just random times. The other day i was just browsing the web and using youtube and i happened to have HWINFO64 running in the background and when i checked it the max temp that the ITE IT8720F cpu had recorded was 192 degrees c now i realise this is probably a false reading so i started using CPUID and again after playing Skyrim for some hours i noticed TMPIN0 had recorded a max temp of 87 degrees c but they always just seem random and all temps normal most of the time. Hope you guys can shed some light on this and my northbridge heatsink is hot to touch which i realise is quite normal and pc runs all day without a hitch.
Specs are:
Gigabyte GA 970a UD3
AMD FX 4170
Gigabyte GTX 660TI
Zalman Z11 plus case with 5 fans
Coolermaster TX3 Evo
2x4GB Corsair vengence
XFX 550w power supply
