Crackling coming from headset regardless of headset set used

Recently I've found my computer giving my headset inconsistent crackling through certain games and videos. The popping isn't loud but it does get louder if the sound gets louder (turning up of the volume). I know it's not my headset because I've tried plugging my headset to a different laptop given no crackling and a different pair of headphones through both audio jacks of my custom built PC with persisting crackling.

I've tried:
Disabling enchantments, Troubleshooting audio , updating motherboard BIOS and audio drivers.

My motherboard is ASUS M5a97 LE r2.0
Headset: Kingston HyperX Cloud

Did you try both rear and front jacks? If both have an issue you may want to look into getting an add-on video card.

I have tried both ends. I was planning on getting a new video card anyways. Thanks a lot
