Hi! I’m Steve.
For a while now, especially during YouTube and other video playback, the sound has been crackling, like the typical digital crackling you hear when an audio CD is scratched. I’ve already reinstalled the driver to the original factory settings, but it didn’t help. I lowered the sound quality from studio to CD quality. I can’t turn off the sound enhancements because there is no option (button, tab) in the sounds, devices, or system submenus. Since it’s an older laptop, it’s no longer under warranty. Therefore, I don’t want to take it to a service center.
What else can I do?
