There needs to be compensation if their solution is to lower the clocks through the drivers. People paid for extra performance when they bought the fastest overclocked models vs the reference cards. Customers are not getting the performance they paid for if this is the only solution they are offering.

Have you actually read what the driver does? Boosts are the same and some reviews are showing improved game performance.

Tom's, could you please list which cards from which manufacturers do and don't have the MLCC blocks?

The whole caps ‘issue’ was massively blown out of proportion. It’s been shown to not be the issue and will make no more than a 50mhz difference to max stable boost when overclocking.

From what I read the POSCAPS which are considered inferior have a lower failure rate. I’ve only seen that point mentioned in 2 places but if true puts a different perspective on what someone might consider better.
