Hi guys, every time I play a game it crashes. I did the cinebench test for cpu nothing wrong, I did heaven benchmark test for gpu nothing wrong... now I did the memtest86 for the ram with result, a lot of errors. Does this mean that I just need to buy and install new ram and the old ones are for the garbage?

full system spec? include brand and model of the psu
what game? where did you get them from?
MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WIFI
I7 13th gen 13700k
MSI GEFORCE RTX 4080
G.Skill Ripjaws S5, DDR5-6000 2x16GB
MSI MPG AB50G PCIE5 PSU
NOCTUA NH-D15 CHROMAX BLACK
6X CROASAIR FAN LL120
FRACTAL meshify 2 CASE

i have it in every game.
and i bought the parts 9 months ago from official seller.

Usually that's PSU but will not know until you give full specs and description of crashing. Are you getting a random restart, freezing or blue screen with error code.

just the game stops and it brings me back to my desktop screen
im 100% all components are the good ones because the system was running good 9monts

Any more than zero errors is an issue. Make sure RAM is installed in slots a2-b2. Reseat CPU and RAM and run memtest again. If errors, look to RMA the RAM

Yeah the mem test stopped after 1000errors. The ram is installed in the right slots. I wil check later when I'm home for a second test after reseating. But wouldn't it be weird? Pc worked for 9monts straight without a problem. Didn't even open my case or moved it

G.Skill memory modules are not for garbage as long as they are in original physical condition, not damaged or altered in any way. All G.Skill memory kits are backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty, so any time a module does not perform like new, you can send them in for replacement.

To determine whether a memory module may be causing a problem, test one at a time to see if one performs differently. If one does, submit the G.Skill RMA request form online to initiate the exchange process:

So after I did the first memtest I wanted to reboot my pc and I pressed the wrong boot option so I need to reset te cmos an took out the gpu because ofcourse the cmos battery is just underneath.... after starting up the pc with everything good on its place again and downloaded a few games I had no crashes anymore! But I'm still gonna run a memtest later today to see if I have still errors.

check event log?
malware scan the system?
what the cpu/gpu temp during the game?
ram/ssd usage?
