Crashing when gaming, pixellation of screen

When playing a game about 2 minutes in my computer will freeze up and the screen will pixellate.
Update: It seems to also crash when not playing a game, it crashed when I was using chrome but it took about 15 minutes before the problem happened

Figured it out. It's a dead graphics card, unfortunately I missed the warranty period by a week so now I'll have to buy a new one, cheers for the help though.
