Create a usb port

Hello, I built a custom sub woofer and speakers, i soldered the audio connection to the sub woofer to give it power since it broke and it was a quick easy fix. I want to create a USB port on the sub woofer. im willing to drill holes into it since the sub woofer has no electronics inside besides the actual speaker. Here's pictures of my rig:

It's not going to work easily. USB isn't analog. You would need a USB DAC, to bridge the speaker into a USB speaker.

In order to create a USB port you will need a PC type device and the Raspberry Pi would probably be the easiest. The plans already exist.

Or you could use a USB DAC. But electronic knowledge is required. Rocky is correct in terms of simplicity.

Actually the OP never stated that he wanted a USB DAC, he just needs a USB port. I don't think that a USB DAC is even required in this set up.

Yeah, I'm not sure why he wanted a usb port. I assumed it was to be able to connect it to a computer by USB. If he just wants to power it by USB, that's something else.
