Creating a tri boot system, but having an error where I cannot create more than 4 primary partitions

I am trying to install windows 8.1. I have already installed windows 7 and vista, but I cannot make another partition.

you have no free space on that hard drive to fit another partition. you need to shrink some of the other partitions to make room

why are you trying to install so many operating systems?

most hardware will allow you to install one os and then run VM(virtual machines) for the other os if you just want to trying things in different os's

I am torrenting different versions of windows to see which one to buy and I am using using mini tool to shrink my main [old] os so I can just have a small 30-40 gb partition to try it out. My problem is i cannot create another primary partition but it will not let
me
