Creating a WIFI hot-spot on net-book with Windows 7 Starter

I have done everything suggested here and can connect my tablet to my hot-spot with SSID and Password but get no Internet access. My problem is that on the Properties of the Internet adapter there is no "Sharing" tab. I have one on my Windows Vista machine but not on either of my two net-books. Could it be that this feature isn't on the "Starter" version of Windows 7 because there are loads of articles showing how to do this and there seems to be no problem? I have visited "Services" and enabled everything which seems to be even vaguely relevant but to no avail. Can anybody shed some light on this please?

Look at the comparison chart, Win 7 start has no internet connection sharing, so that's probably why.

There is probably 3rd party free apps that could do it.

Many thanks for drawing my attention to this Wikipedia entry. I sort of suspected it after 3 days of struggling. Thanks for the rapid reply.
