Creating back-up everything except Windows

Hey. Is it possible to create a back-up on all of my files and programs but not windows itself? I do need to reinstall windows because of a problem I've got, but I do not want to reinstall all of my programs I got on the C: drive if I do not have to ^^

Soo, Is there any way to create a back-up of all programs and files so I can restore it after I've reinstalled Windows?

You will have to reinstall programs. The windows registry (part of windows) is what tracks the installed programs. If you perform a windows instal the registry is wiped clean. The way to repopulate it is to reinstall all the programs.

Backups without windows won't help.
