I am running Win10 Pro. the process goes through the info setup stage then begins to copy the EFI volume and there it crashes. Can I repair the EFI Volume using something like diskpart or whatever, help please
Win 10 now creates three volumes to your boot drive 1.EFI System Partition 2.Reserved Partition and last a data partition. My reserve and data partitions are fine. Am trying to figure out how to defrag/repair the efi volume onl

do you get an error regarding your EFI volume at any other times?
the drive having a data error shouldn't keep Windows from creating an image of it.
if you can't create the system image there's more than likely some corruption in Windows. a refresh may be the best bet.
....if this is where you're starting from and the process isn't completing.

As to your last post with the image. I do get to this point and then I click on next and the image backup starts. About half way through the process it stops and shows EFI error. I have run chdsk /scan and sfc /scannow they report no errors.
