On Windows 10, so what I want is. to have two different user accounts, not affected by each other whether it's antivirus software, direct X update. net framework update, core drive update, etc. the thing is, I'm about to try some software that might update system files like direct x, net framework, etc. my os is working fine now so I don't want any trouble with these changes. so is it plausible ? or I should create a different partition?

Solution
The choices listed above are your two options. I like the separate partition approach if you have 50 - 100 GB of space to use.
