Technology is nice and everything, but we sure do produce a lot of old hardware that loses its value quicker than a new automobile.

I have several old 3g usb modems from various carriers in the US and the rest of the world. Spending time in a country, I had to buy one, and I used it while I was there.

I'm not using any of them anymore.
They're collecting dust in a drawer.

Does anyone have any idea for a creative project they could be used for? For example, could they be repurposed as a sort of WIFI access point or something?

Donate to charity? In my country, the Zeitgeist movement has a project where they get (by different means) used hardware that would have otherwise been thrown away and give it away to those who cannot afford it. I'm sure you can find something similar in your country you can donate to.
