Device manager shows hidden devices for Non Plug and Play Drivers marked with a yellow star ....My pc is suddenly super slow when I google search and will time out, then it says cannot display web page....system information has critical error control on 16 kernel drivers..Do I start or stop non plug and play? Or is the critical error control the reason my pc is crawling? I have checked for virus and malware...and there is none..Im using mcfee security suite...What doI need to do to fix my pc?

I didnt remove or install anything. I downloaded a trial version of glary utilities to restore registry, It reported a bunch of empty registry keys and I clicked on "fix selected errors." Then I rescanned again and got the exact same errors, and a message to purchase the product for full functions. So I found out online I could buy driver scan to update my drivers for 29.95/get registry booster free from UNIBLUE and its certified with 30 day money back.
Reported 6 outdated driers and could not install because of a proxy server problem???? Then I ran registry booster that stopped a bunch of services, and programs wont start, So now its worst than ever.
Should I just reinstall Windows 7 from system restore? Will that be like it was when my computer was new?

I think I got the probloem solved now, and the critical error control is probably an issue that needs attention, however
My Computer got a recent virus.. AkA Google Redirect Virus... It hids in Device Manager under Hidden Devices and if you scrool to end of Non plug and Play Drivers you will see a file named TDSSserv.sys. So just disable it and download VIPRE antivirus,
because most antivirus programs cant detect it. Its a trojan that almost killed my computer...I dont think it would have lasted
for another 24 hours. But it is like 99% faster now and not doing crazy things .

I'm always against all of the "clean up your messy registry" utilities, speed up your PC with software programs. They are never as good as they say and 99% of the time they cause more issues. Look at these forums if you need help with any tools/utilities, there are plenty of "best practice" ideas on here, usually in the sticky posts.
