critiquing my build

for the games you've listed your build is "ridiculously overkill" by a LONG shot.

Take this here by Micro Center:

Same i7, 2gb hard drive, 120 ssd, bluray player, comes with windows 7 pro installed and an extra copy of windows 8 pro (updating to 8.1 is free) 16gb RAM and a GTX 760. The only thing I'd recommend is swapping out the PSU since most pre builts skimp on them and even then your saving ALOT. I only recommend this one because my buddy just got one and it was the same price as my build (that runs an i5 and doesn't have a bluray player) after tax.

yes it maybe overkill but its worth it in the long run and will last alot longer.

Huge , great airflow..... has wheels....lol.....lots of expand-ability in components....can support a quad sli. tons of storage racks and the wire management is simple. The pics i posted are my personal case

"alot" longer? If we are talking 1080p resolution (since the poster didn't specify what resolution he will be playing on and they are more common at the time of this post) then by the time someone would want to upgrade a 760 they could sli a cheap one for alot less than an 780 and beat it. In fact he could just go ahead and add one to that pc and it would still not only be cheaper but would be BETTER than a single 780.

when hes ready to step up his gaming he can get a second 780 for cheap ..... everyone has an opinion.

ty i ordered your case flat before you posted damn pic a part site dont account for tax i was sad close yo 200 ended being 23xx for the whole build
