Crocodile's Tongue/Mask of 1k Faces?

Just checking to make sure whether the following is legal:

Vamp A bleeds/rushes/whatever, is blocked by Vamp B (who is, of course,
younger), A plays Croc Tongue, B pays up, Vamp C (Cap>=Vamp B) masks
and plays another Tongue.

Nothing against it, right?

Actually, it's the only thinkable defense against the Frederick Wall
deck that's been killing people left and right here...

But, ultimately, totally useless since Frederick can't make use of this
without skill cards. Seriously get with the game plan, m'kay? 😉
