Hey folks!

I bought the MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard, because my previous mobo had only 1 PCE-e for a graphics card. I'm looking to crossfire my build. I'm using an MSI R9 270 2gb card at the moment.
What i'm wondering, is can I Xfire the MSI R9 270 with a MSI R7 370 4gb?

If not, what would you reccomend for an upgrade? 😀

Thanks in advance.

Solution
In most cases it will. 370s are not that great, but they have a tremendous power consumption not to mention you should always prefer a single more powerful chip than xfire/sli lower chips.
Hmmm, I'll have to do some more looking around. If xfiring is'nt going to be worth the money, then i may as well look at a nicer card.
I do a lot of game recording and rendering. So a card that makes my games look pretty is a must. I mainly play SWTOR and Fallout 4 since it released.

Is the 970 100% going to run some max settings? If not, i'll look at something else. Possible a 980, but i dont want to spend that much.

Now I don't know what to do with the Motherboard.... I already bought it. Should of done some more digging before I did that! *Facepalm*

Suppose i can keep it for future upgrades, So it's not all bad. I'm looking at a 970 now, and some gameplay using the card.
Looks good. I'll consider it for now. I want to do some more looking around before i spend. Thanks for the help. I'll give you best answer.

This one doesn't do sli, just crossfire.

You could get an extra r9 270 (used for instance) and see how it performs if the psu is up to it.It's cheaper than the gtx 970,in a lot of reviews does it perform as good as one r9 290 in most games.
