I know that crossfire dosnt have as much support as a single card but I want to get into the realm of crossfire. My uncle gave me a free r7 370 4gb because he got it for free and didn't want it. He gave it to me because he knew I wanted to crossfire two medium cards to see the outcome. So he thought he could save me some money by giving me that one for free. Anyways here are my specs:
AMD FX 8320
8gb of ram
And a 1920x1080 display
What I really want to know is would this card be on part with a r9 380x if I crossfire them, could it run the Witcher 3 with a mix of high & ultra settings 60fps. Thanks for the help!

In terms of only frame rate, you can expect somewhere between nothing and almost 2X scaling. As said it varies by the game.

Single card: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-radeon-r9-390x-r9-380-r7-370,4178-6.html

If you go by a max scaling of 2X you can see your performance will be up to about a max of an R9-290X card but I'm sure many games will be similar to an R9-380X.

The CRIMSON drivers and recent work in Crossfire before that should hopefully help make games SMOOTHER than they were in the past (Multi GPU is prone to stutter).

*Make sure to buy an IDENTICAL card and ensure your motherboard supports Crossfire.

conclusion of above article:
"..At that price it’s not really the best buy as you could pick up an R9 390 for less and see a little better performance. Where going crossfire on the 370 is best though is if you build a nice $600 budget build now and upgrade to a second card later.."

In case you didn't realize, Batman Arkham Knight doesn't support multi-GPU. I don't know how well it plays on a single R7-370 (probably okay if you are careful with the settings).

If buying major titles you might want to investigate how they perform on a single and Crossfire R7-370 setup first.
