Hi guys,

I am currently running:

PSU: Antec TruePower 1000W Quattro
Mobo: ASUS P8P67V3
CPU: Intel i7 2600K
RAM: 8GB G.SKilll DDR3-1600
Video: 2x XFX ATI RADEON HD 6870 PCI-E 2.1 1GB

I have a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCIe Fatal1ty Pro that I can't use at the moment because I didn't realise using 2 video cards would use all of PCI-E lanes.

Are there motherboards that are capable of running 2 or cards in Crossfire and a PCI-E sound card?
Are there any you guys would recommend?

I would stick with the onboard sound, but I'm going to grab a 7970 this week anyway, and I figure I might as well pick up a motherboard that can run them in Crossfire with my sound card.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Can't u plug it in the first PCIE x1? [\quote]

Unfortunately no. According to the motherboard user guide:

"[Auto] PCIeX16_2 slot runs at X1 for system resource optimization.
[X4 mode] PCIeX16_2 slot runs at x4 mode for high performance. USB3_34, PCIeX1_1 and PCIeX1_2 will be disabled."

So I can't run the sound card in the PCIeX1_1 slot if I run the 2nd video card slot in x4 mode. I tried it anyway in [Auto] to see how it would run in X1 mode, but it just disabled the 2nd card.
