Crossfire detecting monitors

I'm running 2x 6950 crossfire and I'm having issues detecting my 2nd monitor. I've tried plugin the 2nd monitor into each of the DVI ports. I also checked if the monitor is working correctly it is and that the vga to dvi switch works correctly. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Both monitors have to be plugged into the same card.

They are both plugged into the same card, and that still doesn't work.

Have you tried enabling it in your Catalyst control centre? Sometimes you have to set it up as clone mode or landscape mode...of which you would most likely need landscape mode.

Also sometimes you have to set your resolution correctly to stretch across both screens.

Have you tried doing any of this?

I've done that, and that didn't help at all... i'm goign to try to swap slots of the graphics card and see if that helps.

Swap the slot of the gpus and I still have the same problem.

Well that is odd. I've got nothing. Probably something obvious though

I figured it out. Seems really silly, but the other dvi port is a digital port only, so it won't work with vga at all not even the vga to dvi connector.
