Hi i have an Connect 3d X800GTO crossfire card.

and basically i hear that i would need a "crossfire edition" card to make this run.

What would be the cheapest "Crossfire Edition" card that i could get to pair with my x800?

Also i heard they are gona make it so you do not need a Crossfire Exition card. This way you could use two crossfire cards.

such as using my

2x X800GTO in crossfire

is this possible?

its not nesasarily not worth it.

if i can not have a CROSSFIRE EDITION card

i can buy another gto for like 150 or less, meaning giving me a decent performance boost.

so does anyone know if you can have 2 fo the same cards? or if this feature will be available soon? because i heard they are either working on this or are done with a patch.

can someone find me where to buy crossfire editions of the low end cards? aswell?

I don't think you need crossfire editions for x1300 or x1600 series.
I'm planning on 2 x1600 pros @ $135 per. I don't care that 1 of the newest cards gives better performance. I'm coming off of an ancient video card, so it will all be better to me.

I'm going with a crossfire board on the new build, so I kind of want to stay ATI. I'm not buying anything for about a month, so I'm hoping to get 1 x1800 or x1900 instead. My vid budget is $300 and under for now. My current pig has an geforce 4 mx440, so crappy is still better than what I have.
