Hello
i am building a system with a msi r9 280x and a 4670k. In the future instead of buying a whole new system i would like to crossfire this card.will this be a good idea and will this give me great performance and give my system a new lease of life.

Well to be honest with you, unless you actually plan on doing the crossfire soon, like within the next 6 months, you will most likely be better off at the time of your upgrade just getting the next 'bang for buck' card instead of a second card for crossfire. But crossfire is a viable solution again, and like Timil pointed out it is improving all the time as AMD is addressing the problems.
