Crossfire R9 390X

Hello dear community,

I have two almost identical R9 390X one is Elpida second one is Hynix.

When I use them separately and stress them during benchmark its OK. However once I crossfire them, and put them on max performance stress test during firestrike benchmark, everytime at one scene(for about 5seconds) one of them makes this bee like BZZZ noise, otherwise they perform well and no issues were found, its just for 5 seconds during the test.

Can you advise me what to do?

Is it coils?

Thinking about giving them Water cooling with backplates.

That is coil whine. Is it loud enough to bother you? My card has coil whine, but it is typically quiet enough to be ignored.

It is clearly loud enough to bother me. But it does only when I crossfire the cards.

I have 2 XFX R9 390X just for your information.

Coil whine. Most games shoudl not put such a great stress on them however and this should only happen while benchmarking, in which case, you should ignore it and move on to enjoying your build.
