Money (bang for the buck)
No such thing with SLi nd Crossfire except the rare paper-launch exception like the GF7800GTX-512 where 2GTs SLi'ed were cheaper than a single and unavailable GTX-512. Other than that rare overpriced exception, both are colosal wastes of money unless you already know why you need it (those who do benifit most already know that they would want it [like kinney] and there's no need to explain it to them). People who are curious are usually far better served by a single card until they KNOW what they want, and then they can usually easily upgrade to that. Anyone starting out should just get the best single card they can get.
In this case ATi's ability to work with higher fps with all the Bling turned on/up, is easily superior, especially with the ability to run OpenEXR-HDR with FSMSAA.
Looking at a few reviews you can see the large performance delta at high settings;

is SLi faster than Crossfire ? crossfire seems lame to me cuz u connect the cards externally thru a cable it seems slow but i dont kno the details
So a dongle is more lame than a bridge? OK, whatever, I could see that, but it's semantics really.
hmm
maybe
dunno maybe i should get ATi but when i think ATi i think..
-lame
-low quality
-bad workmanship
Hmm, not surprisingly, that's what people think of nV too, low quality IQ, bad workmanship in the PNY cards (nV's markee brand and maker of Quadros) see the number of threads from the past and present about issues, you'll see an equal number if you bother to be objective. Of course both have their good/bad. For every criticism of either I can bring the same from across the floor. And the lame comment is simply ignorant and childish.
when i think Nvidia
-good quality
-good brand
-lifetime warranty
Considering they don't make cards, then it's irrelevant. ATi warranty > nV's , their board partners however are different. And you may want to check the fine print because there is no lifetime warranty out there, despite calling it a "double-lifetime' warranty.
u wont sway me i will still get Nvidia
Your steadfast position is because, as has already been mentioned, you're the embodiment of the word nVidiot, logic will not sway you from your blind loyalty.
You start a thread to defend your Fanboi camp, not to look for information, go troll somewhere else ya' knob.
