Hi I am wondering if with a Compaq Presario F739WM, could I take a crossover cable and link it to my desktop and bridge the wireless connection with the ethernet connection to give my desktop internet. I am willing to do this because my desktop is in the process of being redone and my current wireless adapters aren't supported by Ubuntu, and I'm not close enough to use a normal ethernet cord. Also this would be a great way for me to connect project computers without wireless to test internet connections or do updates.
