Crucial BX100, Trouble when formatting. (Various format methods.)

Hello here is my Hardware Info.

I am having trouble getting my SSD to function properly. I cannot for the life of me format it so I can use it. I've tried many methods including steps listed here. Upon completion I get a message saying the format did not complete successfully. This happens in every method including Windows 10 install.

Firmware is up to date across the board. This is from the manufactures SSD software.

Might be useful to know, when I use Paragon Migration software it tells me there's an I/O error.

If you need any more details I'll be around for a while to get them so i can be helped. Thanks in advance.

So is windows on it now? Is another hdd the main hdd? And youre trying to format it?

How exactly have you tried to format it?

It maybe a SATA cable prob if you cant format it properly. Try replacing the cable. or try another SATA port

Windows is on the HDD. I'm trying to format the SSD for use. I've used disk manager, right clicking from my computer, new windows install, and a few programs to get it NFTS.

I will try the HDD's SATA cable and port and see if that changes anything, thanks for the advice.

You can't format it, if youre using it. Thats why it wont work.

What version of windows is on it? So it's formatted in FAT32, and you want to convert it to NTFS?
