[SOLVED] Crucial momentum cache taking too much RAM

I have 16GB of Dual channel RAM and a 240GB BX500 SSD, I made a mistake of buying a DRAMless SSD so i used momentum cache from crucial to use my RAM as DRAM Cache but its taking too much RAM. At startup it is already using 8gb of RAM!!? When i turned the momentum cache off the SSD slows down to a crawl of 40Mb/s please suggest what to do

Replace the BX with a better SSD.

I think that is expected behavior - with low application usage, it will use idle memory for cache; when applications require more memory, it will release some or all of the memory it is using.

Replace the BX with a better SSD.

Bro before i installed the storage executive the ssd used to give me 480mb/s on 1gb sequential write
after i did the momentum cache it gave me 2000mb/s
but now if i disable it it goes to crawl of 40mb/s
dunno i tried uninstalling the Crucial software still to no yield
I am sure its a software issue becoz it was working perfect before i installed the crucial software for boosting it more
