Crucial MX 500 SATA M.2 Not showing up in BIOS

This is my first build I have a MSI B450-A Pro attempting to install windows 10 on it but SSD is not present. I’ve seen other threads and looked into the manual and found no help. I’ve also reinstalled it into the m.2 socket twice now and no dice.

Is there something else I need to do that is in settings?

This is my only storage device and no data cables are connected

The drive might be defective. Try returning it.

Edit: I got a new one and it works no issues
